Well, we drove into Branson, MO., on Saturday afternoon, and just LOVED the scenery! Everything is so green and hills abound. I had NO idea that there were mountains like this in Missouri! It really is beautiful country. We noticed many, many farms along the way too.
Once we started getting close to our RV park in Branson, OH MY! The hills, or mountains started testing ole' Admiral! We were going up steep grades at about 35 miles an hour, not wanting to push it on the engine, and then speeding down the hill was another thrill! The kids were yelling with excitement as if we were on rollercoasters! Meanwhile, Todd is laughing or extremely focused, and I am just holding on for dear life! I kept picturing the breaks going out and all of us in our RV flying off the side of some huge cliff......lovely thought....huh? :)
But, Admiral did wonderfully! We made it safe and sound, and come to find out, that our little home on wheels can actually do very well up these steep climbs! Whew! I guess that is good since we plan on visiting many other mountainous states! HA!
