A Magical Experience!!

From the 8:00 am welcome show, to the rides, theatrics and amazing robots, Magic Kingdom was everything I thought it would be and much more!

The first of many rides; Buzz Lightyear, was SO fun. :)

I think they might fly?  What do you think?

Tanner, Emily and Parker having 'tea' and trying not to throw up! HA!

This was an interesting show, and educational. :)  Even at Disney, you can learn something and have a great time.

I think the kids smiled for 15 hours STRAIGHT!

It is Spring Break for many, including us, so the park was VERY crowded, however, with the advantage of the Fast Pass and Zach's wheel chair access, we did not have to wait any longer than 15 min. for all the rides and shows!  Zach can walk short distances, but after about 20 minutes, his foot starts hurting.  Please continue to pray for a complete recovery. Thanks!

It was so fun to see the kids' first glimpse at Cinderella's castle.

Poor Zach, not only had to get pushed in the wheel chair, but had to succumb to his older brother's antics!  Stinky!

At night, the castle lights up in many different colors.  SO MAGICAL!

The Electrical Parade was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

The fireworks and parade lasted for 2 hours!!  It was such a perfect way to end a perfectly wonderful day. :)

Parker lasted till the end and cuddled up with Zach.  So sweet. :)

Steph

Downtown Disney

Last weekend, we met up with Mike, Janice, Jerry and Ruby at Downtown Disney.  They have adopted us as their "Roadie-Kids" and we joyfully accept. :)

Since Mike is a veteran, he generously shared his discount with us for Disney World tickets!!  We were originally going to go to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but with his discount, we get to visit Epcot and Animal Kingdom, too!  AND, for less $$$!!!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU, THANK YOU Mike and Janice!!!!

Downtown Disney is a fun place with all kinds of shops and places to spend way to much money! HA!
LEGO even set up shop with all their fun stuff.
This Buzz and Woody was our favorite. :)

Mrs. Ruby let the littles take a little train ride.  Parker was loving it!

Only at Disney, are the buildings interactive.  Here, Stitch actually 'spits' at the people below.

Yep.  That is Hannah and Emily WANTING to get spat on! :)

Oh yeah!  Who doesn't  LOVE chocolate?!

The store smelled like chocolate heaven. :)  We all enjoyed our FREE chocolate samples, too!

Even this display out of LEGOS was inspiring.

Pretty in pink. :)

It is just indescribable how thankful we are to have met these sweet friends!  They continue to love on us, share encouragement and pass on Godly wisdom, every time we meet.

Life on the road is not always easy.  It definitely has its challenges along the way, however, the Lord works out so many small details to bless us with incredible friendships.

Steph

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Hannah is now officially DOUBLE DIGITS!!!

Where has TEN years gone!?!?!

She woke up to pretty decorations, that Emily made. :)

Emily was absolutely giddy for Hannah's big day.  Too sweet.

All she wanted this year was money.  HA!  She did not even want her special 'menu' this year and asked if she could have that money, too?!

She had her eye on something very special...........

She was so excited to buy her first camera!  YEAH!

Thank you to all the Grandparents and family that sent her birthday cards.  It is a wonderful feeling, knowing you're miles away, but people still take the time to mail cards and gifts. :)

She did pick out her chocolate cake, with chocolate icing and white 'gem' sprinkles.  She also baked and decorated it herself.
Happy 3+3+4 Birthday!!

It was a special day for a special BIG girl! :)

Blessings,
Steph

Saying Goodbye is NOT easy!

So, after traveling through Georgia and Florida and 3 months of memory-making sweetness, the time to say goodbye finally came. :(

The Harper's have quite the drive ahead of them; Victoria, British Columbia, is only a couple of thousand miles away.....

So, we decided to let go of them, so they could go back home. ;)

We enjoyed our last buffet meal together at Cici's Pizza, thanks Scott!, and gave them a collage picture, sharing some of the memories and a plaque.

The kids laughed about fun times and talked about the future times we will share.

And, there were tears shed. :(  We have grown from strangers, to friends, to family.

I thank the Lord for blessing my family with such great friends.  They love us for who we are and encourage us from where we are at in life.  There is no jealousy, no competition, no hurt.  Just honest acceptance and genuine friendship.

We miss you Harper family and look forward to many more memories in the future!!

Steph

Full - time Family Fun!!

So, where did two whole weeks go?!!  We were at the Thousand Trails Orlando RV Park for 2 weeks, and it seriously FLEW by.

There were around 15 full-time families while we were there, so it was a crazy-fun time. :)

Since Zach is STILL on crutches, the Harper, Ticknor and Lundy Boys' were so great, to come over and share their Star Wars fun.

Hannah and Emily had such a sweet time with the Ticknor girls, playing Little Pet Shop, Dress Up, and weaving scarves.

Everyday, the kids were so motivated to finish their school work, so they could play all afternoon with their special friends.

Even the 'Big' girls had a beauty shop time; sharing cool hair tips and tricks.  So fun!

One evening, we went over to the Ticknor's RV for an ice cream social.  You would have never known that there were 31 people!!  Everyone was so relaxed, and used to the small space, so they just adapted and found a place to devour their yummy dessert! HA!

Yep.  More beauty shop. :)

All the teens piled in the back room for a fun game of Apples to Apples.

The Travaglino's daughter also celebrated her 6th birthday, so Hannah and Emily were delighted to be a part of her birthday party!
Here, Hannah is spinning for her chance at 'Pin the Crown on the Princess.' :)

All the girls received these totally cool party gifts!  Yee-haw!

Yes, even on the road, you can have the occasional girly birthday party!  So fun.

Outside, they are playing a game of 'Freeze Dance.'

Another night, we had the Harper and Ticknor kids over for more fellowship.  We just can't get enough of these sweet families.

For two weeks, we did not go anywhere!  However, we have had fun-filled days with special friends, playing water volleyball, beach volleyball, swimming, ice cream socials, birthday parties and much, much more!

Blessings,
Steph

Emily's Exciting Birthday!!

My little, baby girl recently turned 8 years old!  This absolutely depresses me. :(  How has the time flown?  I am with her EVERY SINGLE DAY!

It was so fun and exciting to see how excited she was, so I got over my depressing mood REAL quick.

Thank you to all the Grandparents and family that sent her cards.  She was thrilled. :)

For anyone that knows this little girl, they understand how wonderful this picture is.  She adores to cook and clean.  ( I know....really cool, huh?)

She wanted a Breakfast Supper for one of her meals, and she wanted to cook the meal for everyone.
(scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuits)

Instead of the typical cake and ice cream, she chose popsicles. ;)  The Harper's came over to help us eat them all and gave her a cute Minnie Mouse watch.  One of the gifts she bought with her birthday money was the movie, 'Soul Surfer.'  So, they froze their lips off, as they enjoyed movie night! HA!

On another evening, our new friends, Jerry & Ruby and Mike & Janice took us out for pizza and had a small party for Emily.

It is indescribable how sweet it is to meet the most kind, loving and encouraging people on this road of life.  The Lord has given us 'family' and a sense of community while living on the road.  For all of us, it has been overwhelming, but wonderful!

Emily LOVES gymnastics, so for her birthday, I took her and Hannah to Jackson's Gym for their Day Camp.

Happy Girl :)

Have you ever seen how narrow a balance beam is?!  A small foot can barely fit!

She flipped on the uneven bars.

They had smiles on their faces for 3 hours STRAIGHT.  Two tired, little girls, ready to eat lunch.

So, we went to the World's Largest Entertainment McDonald's!

They have the typical McD's menu, BUT, they also have shrimp, chicken alfredo, enchiladas, pizza and more!

We sat in the 'rainforest,' listening to the waterfall.

LOOK at this fancy-smancy bathroom!  Have YOU ever seen this at McDonald's!?

Upstairs, was a huge arcade room filled with the best of the best games.

It was a fun-filled, wonderful birthday for Emily.  YEAH!

Blessings,
Steph
