Today, we went to the San Jose Mission for our next Jr. Ranger expedition. :)
The Mission is one of five here in San Antonio, that was established in 1785. The surrounding walls, ornate church, and artifacts were so interesting and beautiful.
Here is the church and the "Rose window." It is under construction on the inside, for some much needed renovation/restoring.
This is the oldest mill in the state of Texas! It still works!
Here are the boys working in their workbooks, LITERALLY in a tree.....
Here are the girls completing theirs under a tree....
YEAH! They have earned their 2nd Jr. Ranger badges!!! Go Golden Gang!!!
Afterwards, we went swimming. :)
The RV park that we are at has an enormous pool! It is also heated, so it feels like a nice 75-80 degrees! Whoo-hoo! :)
Blessings,
Steph
