Well, we are here in San Antonio, TX and have had a great start to our visit already. This is our Spring Break vacation from school work, so we are REALLY enjoying a break. :) On a normal week, the kids have their assignment sheets that let them know what subjects and assignments they need to complete each day, and we are usually done by lunch time. So, in the afternoon, we head off to our "field trips" and try to see what other adventure awaits! We have a museum, zoo, and aquarium membership (nation wide) that allows us to get into these places for Free or at a significant discount.
This is TRULY a blessing. When we were in the "sticks-n-bricks" home, we just could not afford to go to all the fun stops and museums for our family of 7! :)
We usually eat lunch and take snacks, so we are not eating a bunch of junk out there, although, we are splurging every now and then for the "experience" of it all! (It's all about the FOOD! :))
We have started our visit with Fiesta Texas!!! We had SUCH a great time! It was one of those "firsts" for Zach, Hannah, Emily and Parker! We all just loved it. I am not a dare-devil on the rollercoasters as I once was, so I stayed behind with the littles, but Todd and the boys conquered them ALL! We were especially proud of Zach and even Hannah and Emily on the Looney Express Coaster, and even Hannah went on the Scream! UG! But Zach, really faced his fear, and went on ALL the rides with his Dad and Tanner.
Here are some random pics:
Oh yes, Hannah went ALL THE WAY UP!....and then back down, REALLY FAST!
Parker and Emily had sticky sucker all over their mouths and hands! :)FUN......
Parker really liked the Little Kiddo section and carousel.
This pic just does not show how beautiful the waterfalls are!
Fiesta Texas really is a great family park. It has so many rides, of all levels, and it was very clean. :)
Blessings,
Steph
