Park Day!
Park day is always fun. All you need are friends, toys, food and restrooms. :)
The Harper's treated us to pizza for lunch, as we played at Satilla Waterfront Park in Woodbine, Ga., one afternoon. It was supposed to rain, but thankfully it didn't, or I would have been stuck with a whole lot of wet socks and shirts! (aka...we would have played in the rain!)
Look at all those VULTURES!
After a few games of mini-hockey, we all took a stroll on the boardwalk trail.
We noticed this nasty looking mud flat, and the kids starting throwing sticks and reeds into it. YUCK! It made this awful thud, and just cratered. I kept imagining one of our kids falling in and sinking like quick-sand. Just gross, but the kids were enthralled. :)
Then we came up on this nice view of the small town. LOVE the trees and lampposts.
This was a little burial plot for an old hobo that fell off the train, as it was passing through town. I thought it was so sad, and yet so telling, of how thoughtful the town people were, to give him a proper place to rest.
Isn't it a cute little street?
Back at the park, I noticed this on the pier. So sweet. :)
Here is the crew! Aren't they AWESOME?!
Thanks Harper family for the pizza and another fun day!
Blessings,
Steph
