Big Cypress National Park!

We stayed in Midway campground, in Big Cypress, for a couple of days, to see the alligators.  It was such a great place to stay to see this area!  With our National Park pass, it was only $10/night, including electricity, fresh water to fill your tanks and a dump station.  There is also a pond in the middle of the campground with a couple of resident alligators.

Just down the road, is this Visitor's center.....

Boy, oh, boy!  Did we see the alligators!!

Just outside the center, is this 'pond' with at least 20-30 alligators!

They were swimming, sunning, sleeping, and smiling. :)

It was just fascinating to see them, in their habitat, living life.  They were HUGE!

Did YOU know that an alligator's brain is the size of a walnut?!  Poor thing.

YEAH!  Golden gang!!
They earned another badge!

Blessings,
Steph
