Disney Hotels, Transportation and Bathrooms!

One evening, we went with the Harper family to check out all the lavish Disney World Hotels.
Our first stop was the Wilderness Lodge.
Talk about, "WOW!"

This is the LOBBY!

Stories and stories of beautiful log-cabin-style rooms were truly breath taking!  If you want to stay here, the price per night starts at $284 and goes up to $1100 for the Presidential Suite!  UG!

Seriously!?

Outside, we found the geyser.....not a REAL one, but pretty good one for being fabricated. HA!

Here we are, with great anticipation. :)  It is definitely NOT as special as Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park, but still wonderful.  (my camera just couldn't capture it, being too dark...sorry!)

Here is Parker in the bathroom, washing his hands.  Notice how it is the PERFECT size?!
LOVE it! :)

We spent an hour, hunting for all the 'Mickey' heads through out the hotel, for this 'special' prize.  Little did we know, that we would get grilled by the concierge!  It was so comical, how seriously she took this scavenger hunt!  I thought for sure, that we were going to get this AMAZING prize for all of our hard work, right?

Here we are with our wonderfully, glorious (sarcasm included) Goofy pin! HA!
YEP.  One stinkin' pin!  Come on Disney!

Then, we took a deep breath, dried our tears, and jetted to the Floridian Hotel.  :)

It made you feel as though you stepped back in time.  It is SO beautiful.  So clean, and sparkly white. :)

The flowers were in bloom, too!  So pretty.

"AAAWWWW"  Can you hear the Alleluia chorus?!
Again, this is the LOBBY!?!?!

We rode this glass elevator, which was a perfect addition to the decor.

The Big Band was playing dancing music and waltzes as we were strolling through.

Emily was BEAMING!

So, then we took the FREE monorail ride to the Polynesian Hotel.  :)

We were all so pumped to get this experience!

Outside, they had a floating light show, on their beach, and in the background......

Fireworks!!  It was too cool to watch them right above Cinderella's castle!

I liked these patriotic lights the best. :)

Our last hotel was the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It was UNBELIEVABLE.  The roof is a GRASS roof!
Everything, from the lights, to the floors, to the wood and even the SMELL, was an African theme!

Our last little 'HOORAH!' was the ferry boat ride, back to our truck to head home.
It was a great evening, with sweet friends, and amazing, Disney details, that only Disney knows how to do so well!

Blessings,
Steph
