The Candy House Chocolate Factory!

Can you say, "YUM!??!"
While we were in Joplin, we HAD to tour their factory.  Boy, did they deliver!  This was so cool, and we got to go through the entire kitchen and watch the process of all their specialties being made, right before our eyes. :)  It was personal. (it was just us on the tour)  It was delicious.  (they gave us free samples!)  It was really informative and interesting.  :)  The man who lead the tour was most gracious, as we took our time through their operation to watch and observe all the different activity "behind the scenes."  It gives you SO much more of an appreciation when you eat your next truffle or chocolate covered caramel. :)

We have never been more excited to wear hair nets!!!  Aren't we lovely?

Here is where they are melting colored chocolate by just the heat of lightbulbs!  And here are some of the finished products from using different types of molds.

The imported chocolate comes like these 10 pound beauties before they are melted.

Hundreds of assortments!  So yummy!  :)  Getting ready to be packaged.  Some packages are small, and some are big, gold boxes.

In the kitchen, the employees have it down to an art, and work well as a team for their finished products.
In the "showcase" room, it is hard to decide what you want, because it is all so grand!  Some chocolates are traditional, and some are really cute and colorful or seasonal, but all of it is truly a work of art.

The Golden Gang would like to thank Diana Maniace, and Pat and Terry Hicklin for our wonderful tour experience at the Joplin, Missouri, Candy House Chocolate Factory!!

Blessings,
Steph
