Sounds sweet right?
At the State park, in Iowa, we are REALLY enjoying our stay. We have been swimming, played ball, flown homemade kites, fishing, and exploring.
Tanner found this little guy while he was fishing yesterday.
Now, today when he went fishing, not only did he ALMOST get bit by a water moccasin, but he "caught" this HUGE frog. EEWWW! :)
After this lovely photo-op, they proceeded to have their own biology lesson, and dissected it......boys!
Gotta love them.....
They came back with all kinds of stories about the kidneys full of urine, and the tendons moving....just gross if you ask me, but they had a blast, and felt a little like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. ;)
Just so you know, we did NOT have frog legs for dinner! :)
